The City of Philadelphia recently adopted new building codes. Please refer to our "Code References" page for details and links to the codes. The City has moved to allign its building, electrical and fire alarm codes with the International Codes. This is a national move toward making Codes consistent across the country and internationally.

The Alarmist believes in having an educated work force. All of our employees are in process of attaining NICET Certification. Our staff includes experience from NICET Level I through NICET Level IV in FIre Alarm Systems. NICET is an engineering training and certificate organization recognized nationally and required by municipalities. Currently the City of Philadelphia requires a minimum of NICET Level III to file annual Fire Alarm Certifications.
